Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon affected Guangdong yesterday. Temperatures fell significantly over the region. Locally, it was cool yesterday morning. Temperatures over the territory were generally about five degrees lower than those of the day before. Sunny periods during the day. Became fine at night. Under the influence of a dry northeast monsoon, it will be cold over southern China this morning. The weather will be generally fine with relatively large temperature difference between day and night over the region for the rest of the week.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Tuesday, 22 Jan 2019)

Mainly fine. Rather cool in the morning. The minimum temperature will be about 13 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Very dry during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 19 degrees. Moderate north to northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine and dry for the rest of the week. Temperatures will rise gradually in the latter part of this week.
