Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Showers are affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.

At 2 a.m., Severe Typhoon Soulik was centred about 950 kilometres southeast of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 15 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms. Sunny intervals in the afternoon. Temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees. Light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods and a few showers in the following couple of days.
