Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft over the northern part of the South China Sea continued to bring mainly fine weather to the coast of southeastern China yesterday. Locally, it was mainly fine yesterday apart from isolated showers in the morning. The weather was very hot during the day. The maximum temperatures recorded at the Observatory were 33.0 degrees or above for 9 consecutive days, the longest record in May. Under the dominance of the anticyclone aloft, it will remain very hot over Guangdong in the next few days.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Saturday, 26 May 2018)

Becoming cloudy. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees. Isolated showers in the morning. Very hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 33 degrees. Moderate southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Very hot weather will persist with sunny periods in the following few days.
